I started my accounting career while still in college, specializing in new system setups for a local temp agency when QuickBooks Desktop was first launched in 1992. This experience provided an excellent foundation for understanding how information flow can vary greatly across different industries. Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of sectors, including education, medical manufacturing, and nonprofits.
After more than 30 years in the field, I founded Cutting Edge Bookkeeping in 2022 with the goal of leveraging my expertise to help business owners navigate the constantly evolving landscape of accounting technology. I also discovered a passion for mentoring the next generation of bookkeepers, sharing my knowledge and experiences with them.
